We have a client who is a noise wall contractor.
Their job is to put up walls along highways to help with noise pollution.
Usually, they’re the very last people on site.

I asked him if I could do this for him and he said he didn’t want to appear too commercial by negotiating.
He thought that by negotiating he’d appear too contractual and too difficult.
I assured him this ABSOLUTELY isn’t the case.
NEGOTIATING MAKES YOU LOOK PROFESSIONAL.
If you don’t like negotiating or the idea of negotiating you need to adjust your mindset.
Because YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE WORST CONTRACT
and it’s up to
YOU TO MAKE IT BETTER.
This noise wall client had three tenders going on. Two were repeated work. One was a new contract.
He agreed that I’d deal with the new contractor to see if he could get the work by negotiating.
We negotiated and did all the departures etc.
